Middle Age City

1000 years old of which 500 years as capital city, Copenhagen offers a great mix of history, architecture, monuments and a plethora of stories, whilst also being a bustling, modern and “green city”. This tour takes you through it all.

Along the water-front you will see the royal palace Amalienborg, with the Marble Church. The old harbor with the new Opera and the Play House – and the new Copenhill ski-slope will be at your feet. Go one way to see the famous Little Mermaid, the old Citadel and the Gefion fountain. Or head the other way to the lively and colorful old harbor area, Nyhavn, with all its restaurants. You will understand the importance of the sea throughout our history – and learn about famous Danes, incl. H. C. Andersen.
